Good news; bad news; good news.

There's good news and bad news and good news about the car. First of all it's the drive shaft not the clutch and that was only fifty quid and change. The bad news is that they found a leak on the petrol filler pipe - which is a hundred quid and change. (All plus labour plus VAT etc). But the overall good news is that it's not going to be the £600+ price we were expecting for a new clutch.

Ouch! I assume they fixed the drive shaft. Hope the petrol filler pipe doesn't take too long. Car stuff is a pain. :(

They fixed the drive shaft immediately - the part for the filler pipe has been ordered and we might be a couple of days without it but in the meantime we can use my mum's for emergencies as she lives next door.

Good job of course with the emergency trip down to A & E yesterday with BB's crushed finger.
