Movie of the Week: The Hobbit 3D

Went to see The Hobbit #1 again today but this time - by accident as the info on the website was wrong - we ended up at the 3D version. Last time we saw the 2D one and we both thoroughly enjoyed it.

Although the use of 3D was relatively subtle the action scenes were still horrible in 3D with backgrounds and characters shifting in and out of focus with nauseating regularity.

Honestly - whoever thought 3D was a good idea? It kills good movies and makes bad movies worse. I hope this fad with soon fade.
