I ignore mine a lot of the time, but I did find it useful at Redemption a couple of months ago, that being the first con where I had bandwidth while I was walking around.

I suspect it depends on how much you end up using it. :) I wouldn't have the time to give it any attention. I have enough on-line venues to keep me busy any day and no need for the kind of quick-response interactions that I believe twitter is best at. I'll be interested to see if it retains your attention.
