This is Agatha Christie's classic murder-mystery set in Egypt, on a Nile steamer. There's a large cast of characters, a series of murders, a few missteps along the way. Hercule Poirot – who is in Egypt for a vacation – eventually solves the murders. The story is well known and I won't give anything away here. I bought this largely because of the glowing reviews of the narrator, Kenneth Branagh. They were right. He's marvellous, voicing all the characters admirably, so much so that you forget you're listening to one reader.
