It would surprise me if it only fell open at one page. It's the sort of book that could be full of student bookmarks. After a while the sex gets a bit same-old same-old. Sex scenes are fine (as graphic as you like) if they deepen the characterisation or move the story forward. This is a long book and apart from one or two moments, I've lost track of most of them already.
