Swamped

Swamped with work - and the more swamped I get the less work I want to do. You know how it goes. Got some packages posted off today, though, which is A Good Thing. My office already looks better. And despite all the day-job work, I had an idea for a short story and made a decent start on it.

I know that feeling! I have heaps to do before I start tutoring again, but I suddenly got the urge to scan old slides.

I have also been working through the activities for the creative writing course and I had an idea for a short story for the first assignment, but these were not exactly the most important things on my To Do list.

To-do lists are the invention of the Devil. Whenever I use a priority list system (low, medium and high) I almost never manage to do the high priority ones, but often manage to do things that never made the list at all.
