It's 3.35 a.m. I'm going to bed. Can anyone tell me why i push myself into the wee small hours every night? It's stupid, but ...

You are a night owl? :)

It's no good me staying up late because no one can get any sense out of me after 9.00 pm!

I'm just starting to warm up and come alive at 9.00 p.m.

Err... no I am not a vampire... well if I am I don't spontaneously combust in sunlight and I haven't noticed cravings for blood.

Speaking of vampires... Have you seen the pilot of the new British vampire show "Being Human"? It was on BBC3 but is available on the BBC's iPlayer -- which is how I watched it.

British vampires, it seems, don't spontaneously combust, though sunlight is obviously unpleasant as they have to wrap up against it and wear dark glasses.

Yes, I posted about this show last week. I really liked it, but at the moment, though it did seem to be a pilot and left plenty of room for future stories, they just say it was a one-off drama. I do hope they turn it into a series.

Do you know more than I do?

I now realise it was probably you that alerted me to the show in the first place. :)

All I discovered from a couple of web sites I read was that the BBC were airing a few pilots and there would be series. I think "Being Human" has a lot of potential and the comments I've seen have all been positive. I hope that a) this one gets made and b) they don't mess it up when they extend it to a series.

I actually wrote to the Beeb in support of them making the series... and I don't do that very often. They _say_ that for every letter they get they assume there are 100 people out there who think the same but don't put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) so writing in can really make a difference if enough people do it. (Not that _that_ helped Blakes 7).
