Only 558 words today but I've joined up the new bit with an old bit that I think is a keeper.

Intrigued by the new word meter that desperance  has found, I tested it out. Yes it does let me admit that I'm 18,000 words over my target. Oops. I sense some snippage to come.

The sad thing is that it doesn't keep getting bigger, once you've exceeded your target. They need to build Shanghai faster, just to keep up with us...
