DPD parcel deliveries.

To DPD: Kudos to your delivery driver. He managed to sneak up to my front door and put through a 'sorry we missed you' card while I was sitting withn ten feet of said door. He did not ring the doorbell and if he knocked did so extremely quietly. Do you pay him overtime for having to come out again tomorrow?

Also kudos to your automated telephone system and to your website which manages not to let me telephone a real person to complain to.

DPD, this is a rubbish service. I don't even know what you were trying to deliver, or from where, but when my package eventualy arrives (if it ever does) I will contact the sender and advise them to use a different delivery company.

I once sat ten feet from a door waiting for the delivery of a cooker. Nothing at all happened all day. British Gas said I hadn't been in. I pointed out that no card had been pushed through the door and, furthermore, that I used to work for East Midlands Gas and knew every single excuse ever invented by delivery men/fitters when they had to deliver and fit to a first floor flat and didn't want to...

Funnily enough, they promised next day and actually came at the specified time.

This sort of stuff drives me nuts! I work from home, my office is over the front door there's a repeater doorbell in the office and if I'm in, the outer front door will be open, meaning stuff can be left in the porch.

Still they manage to fail in deliveries!

Yes, me, too. My office is next to the front door and I have repeater doorbells in the office, the kitchen, the living room and the bedroom. If they ring that bell I'm going to hear it wherever I am! I think some drivers are experts in stealth delivery.
