Movie of the Week: Brave

Beautiful animation, some excellent voice acting (Kelly McDonald, Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson, Julie Walters, Robbie Coltrane) and a slightly soppy moralistic coming-of-age story that nevertheless worked in context. Particular kudos to Billy Connolly who injected massive personality into the character of Fergus (the heroine's dad).
