So, at last, I've joined the BSFA which means I can to nominate for the awards. I only have until 14th, so, help, what came out in the qualifying period? Who's got books and stories that are eligible?

Far be it from me to self-promote (ahem!) but if you (have) read my story Bee Futures and enjoy(ed) it...

(Bonus points because it's starting to look more than a bit prescient, given this BBC News item? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-25656283)

I think you should nominate Dave Gullen's Shopocalypse

Seconded. And that's even though I've technically a horse in this race too.

Matt Colborn's terrific short story collection is eligible but only story-by-story as, unfortunately, no collection category. I nominated "Thread of Memory" Chris Butler had a good piece in Interzone "The Animator". Nothing from me this year!
