Well, I'm not a librarian but it seem that I'm Giles as well - probably due to my preference for looking things up over action. I don't tend to do libraries much any more but that's mostly because I prefer to be surrounded by my own books. I dream of a huge house with rooms full of wood-panelled floor-to-ceiling bookshelves. *g*

Ah.Shelving. Ihave got some foor to ceiling bookshelves but I've still run out of space and I have a load of books to take to Oxfam. I need to get organsised but not half so much as I need to get on with some work.

Like you I am also Giles. Strangely librarian was one of the careers I considered many many years ago.

I always dreamed of a booklined study of my own, but before it could come about, the Internet was invented, so I've dropped that particular dream.

I have a wide collection of reference material, but sadly most of my non-ficton books are rarely referred to any more. Like you if I need information, I google.
