Apart from the usual... I've been polishing a bit more of the family history that I attack periodically. There was a guest lecture at the library in Denby dale - a problem solving session - and I decided to go. One thing led to another and I ended up adding to the research beforehand.

It turns out, though, that the library has a subscription to ancestry.com - the LDS website that has been a bit too pricey for me to take out a subscription to, but which has a load of census stuff that's not available anywhere else without going to various regional centres.
