Movie of the Week: Frozen II

Royal sisters Anna and Elsa are off on another adventure. Queen Elsa is hearing a mysterious voice, which she intends to follow. This time they're heading to the Enchanted Forest, shrouded in magic mist.  Sidekicks for the journey are Anna's boyfriend Kristoff, snowman Olaf, and Sven the reindeer. I admit I quite enjoyed the first movie, but this one didn't have quite the same punch. Yes, the sister-bond is strong. Both of them have agency. There's also an anthemic song, but it's not a patch on Let it Go.

I can see why little girls love this world. It's a sparkly sister-act. All I can say is that it's suitable for a wet Wednesday afternoon's viewing, but I wouldn't rush to watch it again.
