This is where Cadfael's natural son, Olivier, first turns up.

We visited the abbey site where part of the action takes place recently- it's close to Ludlow and all these novels are home turf for us.

Ah, one day, when I'm not looking after Mum 24/7 I'll be able to go out and about again. Ludlow is on my wish list - perhaps with side trips to Shrewsbury and Hay on Wye.
