In a different reality, Cordelia is the only slayer and Drusilla is the Big Bad, aided and abetted by Tara, who is still alive in the second reality In the original reality Spike and his best friend Clem are working undercover, working to keep threats down along with multiple slayers. Spike is the main narrator. Slayer Cordelia arrives to enlist Spike's help against Dru. Retired watcher, Giles, is enlisted, too. There are demons and ghosts in both realities and plenty of bad guys to fight, including two versions of Anya, one of them still a vengeance demon, Anyanka.
