Finally got to see Morris - A Life with Bells On last Sunday on it's national premier weekend and was much amused to find this Youtube set-up ad for it with major folkies telling how DerecqTwist (the character in the movie) changed their lives. Lovely stuff.

New Dell laptop arrived. Seems to be exactly what I ordered but since I volunteered to help out at a local folk festival this weekend I haven't had as much time to play with it as I would have liked. More soon...

So I'm sitting here waiting for five hairy jet-lagged Canadians to fall through my front door. Yes it's that time of year again. Tanglefoot is on tour from 1st May to 8th June. the beds are made up, there's an enormous pan of sausage soup (their favourite) simmering gently on the stove and the house is waiting for the patter of less than tiny feet. This year they have a new piano player, Robert Graham. This is last year's lineup:
