Ottawa in October

I just received an invitation from the Ontario Council of Folk Festivals to attend their October conference in Ottawa (15th - 18th) to speak on touring the UK and to provide mentor session for performers. (All expenses paid.) I had to think really hard for... ooh... seconds, before accepting.

Ah, right. We used to gig in places like Albany (and the Old Songs Festival in Altamount), Saratoga Springs (Caffe Lena), Ithaca (Bound for Glory Radio Show) etc., but I'm more framiliar with PA in general. My son is in Princeton at the moment (doing a PhD) but other than playing gigs in Morristown and (once) Trenton I lnow the inside of Newark Airport better than the rest of the state.
