I finally got round to joining SFWA. I've been intending to do it since I qualified in 2004. Better late than never.

There was the hit record by Screaming Lord Such in the 1960s which had the line... 'to the funny farm, where life is beautiful all day long, and I'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats, and they're coming to take me away...'
