Thanks, I'll have a look. It all depends on the rates. ISAs aren't offering very good interest at the moment - bertween .5 and 3%. Some of them have tempting rates but it's only for a year or so, then the rates plummet.

I take it Mum is an Archers fan. (You do know that the names Kenton and Shula were invented, supposedly with Scrabble tiles, in an Archers episode maybe fifty year ago?)

No Archers concerned. Kenton is their surname. They haven't decided on a first name yet... or rather they have but they're trying it out for size before they stick him with it personally.

Of course, since one of my ancestors was called Fletcher Fletcher, they clould always try Kenton Kenton, but that's probably not goling to work!

Apologies for the misunderstanding! The baby is lovely and I am glad to hear all are doing well.

Though said misunderstanding did take inamac to some appallingly inaccurate baby-naming websites, including one which announced that babies named Kent were named after Superman whose secret identify was actually Kent Clarke (with the e).
