Plotting the rewrite of 'Your Horse Sees Dead People' as requested by my agent.

I need to stay very focused on the main plot points. I have a tendency to cram all sorts of other stuff in there, too.

Do the words, "requested by my agent," linger lovingly on your lips? On your keyboard?

I can't say it too often. It's still a big novelty and feels great. Of course, she still has to sell a book for me, but it's early days yet.

You're welcome to read the first version and then be a beta-reader for the second if you wish. You're pretty good at spotting the plot homes and another horsey brain on it would certainly not hurt. I'd be delighted if you want to have a go at it.

If it's not 500,000 words, then do send it on. I'm not up to a huge novel right now (no time or energy for it) but anything shorter, especially with horses, is fine.

Hope it's not too major a re-write required, but also glad that she considers it worth working on. Shout if feedback from this direction of any sort would be useful.

Course you can, Malcolm ... ;) I mean, please do. Please feel free to suggest what kind of feedback would be most useful at this stage and I'll do my best.
